11-metre lap pool caps off outdoor entertaining area

Coast 2 Coast Pools installed this fibreglass lap pool in Sanctuary Lakes, using an 11m lap pool and spa combination in Mediterranean MarbleTech finish. The Mediterranean colour creates a clear blue reflection, with a white pearl finish which captures light and reflects throughout the pool.

The site was on the waterfront of Sanctuary Lakes, with careful excavation and shoring of site not to interrupt the water level. As a registered builder, Tim and his crew completed this job, being on site at all times and completing the work with minimal subcontracting.

Tim installed a long, narrow fibreglass lap pool to allow for maximum entertaining area along the length of the pool and an integrated indoor/outdoor area. The lap pool design allows for a continuous-depth pool, with a slimline design to suit a narrow entertaining area.

The client chose the pool after meetings with Tim and the Coast 2 Coast team, where we considered the area and what the client wanted to achieve before working with engineers to find a stylish and practical solution.

The combination of a fibreglass lap pool and spa allows for an area of relaxation while others can enjoy the continuous swimming space of the pool. The spa comfortably seats eight adults, with room for a couple more.

The LED lights and deck lights create a spectacular night-time water feature, and addition of a wet deck creates a sophisticated water feature that integrates the swimming area and surrounding paving. A wet deck functions to capture overflow water while adding the feature of another seating area to the pool and integrating other design elements.
